steering

I plan on checking/adjusting my steering head bearings on my 1199. To anybody who has performed this procedure, how did you lift the motorcycle safely without damaging anything? I have a Pitbull front and rear stand however I want to take any weight off the front steering to properly adjusted...

Big gripe from me is that although I think the base 1199 is the best 1199..:D..The stock steering damper is garbage...Even my ZX10 had an Ohlins...Anyway I just bought the Oem Ohlins damper from a good friend...Anyone done this?? Notice an improvement in reduction of head shake?? Hopefully this...

I had a very slow low side and the steering stop broke off the steering head base unit. I found the broken off bit and was wondering if I could use some JB Weld or similar to glue the stop back on. No other damage to the unit. Since this broke off so easily I don't see where it is designed to do...

Hey Guy, Just wondering if its worth upgrading the steering damper on the base model to the Ohlin one on the S/Tri? Found them online for something like $350 brand new through it might be a good upgrade?

Could anybody with the Ohlins steering damper please post the total length of the Panigale Ohlins steering damper? I have a new one that was for a R1, however they look identical to the ones I've seen on the 1199 Tri (See below) thanks!

Has anyone else had this experience: When making turns, especially long ones like a freeway entrance or exit ramp, it gets difficult to hold your push on the bars in the turn?? Like, the bike is trying hard to up-right it self, it's pushing back against your hand. Maybe I'm not giving it...
