I made the plunge and purchased a set of Shif Tech CF Subframe covers. Many others have also made this purchase, so my apologies if this is redundant. But I thought I'd post a review of my first ride while the impression is fresh. Shif Tech claims this item reduces subframe heat "by a bunch"...

Ok, rather continue to curse I figured I'd asked the mechanically inclined. HELP! I've searched the forum to no avail. The lower 2 40 size torx on the subframe I can't get to. This even with a wobble extension. I assume the wiring with just pull through once everything is loose...

I was watching a video on youtube. This one guy added Shift Techs carbon fiber subframe brackets to stop the heat from burning his inner thighs. Dude was from Texas. Said the heat was so bad his inner thighs were red and he needed to ice them down and they were red. I felt the heat as well...

Does anyone know if this subframe, Motoholders Panigale Lightweight Rear Subframe support the whole original tail with lights and all. Or is it just for the race tail? Thanks.

Motoholders race aluminum subframe Waited a while but well worth it! Extremely light and great quality glad they came out with the black frame Just thought I'd share!

Rumour has it that CDT are in the process of designing a road going version of their carbon fibre subframe. I don't know yet whether it will mimic that on the Superleggera, but it will supposedly surface sometime this Spring. CDT already offer a CF subframe but it is strictly for track use only...
