    RBW throttle cutout??

so I'm rolling out from the house, and before I make it out of the neighborhood, the strangest sensation of turning the throttle and nothing happening, happens. I pull in the clutch to see if the engine (read ignition) has died). Engine goes to idle. I continue to ride and it's fine, except it...

    throttle assembly spin .95 fix

ok so this has been going on a while. i tried double sided tape then electrical tape and it didn't stay . so this is what i did. first the hole in the clip on is 6mm went to home dept bought a 1/4 spacer now of course 6mm is .236 inches so the 1/4 was slightly too big. next drilled...

    Throttle spacers not flush?

I installed the throttle spacers and it seems they don't sit entirely flush. Is that true for everyone? The spacer is a tad bit taller. Doesn't seem to effect anything but I'm curious who else experienced that? Also, did you all keep the clear plastic circle thing?

    1299s snatchy throttle?!

Hi all! New member here! Had my 1299s for just over a week (came from an 1198), 1st service done yesterday. Took it to my local track (Cadwell Park in the UK) last night for its first track session. It performed fantastic! Fixed suspension, ebc2 and everything else on 1. Great constant laps...

    Throttle Spacer Kit Installed

Forum Member reviews are correct. The Panigale Throttle Spacer Kit makes a huge difference in throttle response. I had mine installed by my local dealer while in for other service. I got my kit from Ducati Omaha, they are always helpful.

    Stupid stupid throttle

I've happily eliminated the free-play with the throttle spacer fix; and there's still a small dead-zone where revs don't move after throttle is turned - which I'm expecting/hoping will get fixed when I ask the service centre to reset the TPS at first service. But, my throttle is really...

I just got rid of throttle slop!

    1. unscrew the two black screws in the throttle housing. The back will come off. 2. turn the throttle; you'll see where there's a constant gap between two black parts when twisting the throttle, and this gap can close at zero throttle - the cause of the slop 3. I read somewhere that someone...

    Why No Throttle Free-Play Adjustment?

already used search... why didn't ducati add this feature for the 1299? seems like only way to adjust the "free-play" (to generally accepted 3mm-5mm) is to dissassemble and add somekinda "bumper" at the rest area... i don't like too much play

    Throttle housing rotates 365 degrees

My stupid-ass throttle now rotates fully. There is some tiny little plastic piece that goes inside an opening on the clipon that secures the throttle housing. That little piece broke off (which I have). I tried to take off the throttle housing but I was met with two types of screws I have never...

So Ducati denied my warranty claim, wtf?!?

What's up with my entire throttle grip assy moving?? So after installing my 717 grips last week I just noticed that if I rotate the throttle grip all the way down, with the bike off, after the throttle grip stop, the entire throttle housing moves. So then I move the grip clockwise and after it...

    Home made throttle slop fix

When I first rode the Pani on the track I couldn't get past the delayed throttle response compared to other bikes I have ridden. It's not so noticable on the street but on the track it was very frustrating. I like to have minimal slack in my throttle so I thought I would see if I could fix it...

    Panigale Racing Throttle Spacer Kit

I ordered up the Panigale Racing Throttle Spacer Kit (Part #1199T) from Ducati Omaha. The kit arrived today so I disassembled the DBW Throttle Assembly. I installed everything which took care of all the slack in the linkage. Total install time for the spacers is about 30 minutes...

Is it possible to adjust the throttle grip position?

So I was reading about Nicky Hayden's wrist injury and how he's had his throttle grip adjusted for his hand's much smaller range of motion. Very cool. I usually make a tiny adjustment to my throttle grip, as in move my hand clockwise over the grip, if I know I'm gonna pin the throttle (not...

    throttle grip question....

i haven't looked yet, but given we are fly by wire these days, do we have a throttle grip adjuster, like the days of old cable throttles where you could easily adjust gap/play

    Throttle Problems

So, to make this story as short as possible. While waiting for my last carbon piece I put the beast back together to test out my new ECU tune. I ran it around about 40km with no fairings except the nose and tail. I was told by SPG that the tune would run very poorly for the first few miles as...

    Throttle modulation

Guys I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the problems I'm having with my throttle. The way I would describe the throttle is 'hair trigger' or 'on or off'. Even when I have zero weight on the bars and I'm almost using two fingers to twist the throttle it's still there. I compare with my...
