I come to read my manual after having my bike for a little over 3 weeks that my suspension is set to FLAT after I told the dealer to set it to PROGRESSIVE like its recommended by Ducati. I was assured that it WAS in PROGRESSIVE mode and cared not to check for myself this entire time. WTF :mad:

I'm pleased to report that my base + ABS arrived at the dealers this morning:D Ordered a few carbon goodies, and have booked the bike in for a full suspension set-up for the end of June (MCT Suspension, Stowmarket). Going there tomorrow to check it out - can't wait!

Picked up my bike from the dealer today a few months earlier than planned... Compared to my 1098r it's easier to ride especially lower in the rev range and turns in quicker. Rain held off late in the afternoon allowing me to put the first 100miles on it. Absolutely love it:D some pics

Paid my deposit today for a Standard 1199 with ABS, expected delivery is end of April next year :D Looked at it and tried it for size at the NEC bike show Saturday and it's amazing- hope it's as nice to ride as it looks!
