There is a tool needed to take off the bolt inside your clutch . its called the wet clutch basket holding tool. The tool from ducati is 300 bucks. i cant find one for the 1199 anywhere. also what size is that bolt? i think its a 32mm but not sure.
Ps the other clutch tools do not work...
Was at the dealer not to long ago and was talking to techs. They were talking about the 15000 mile service and that if the intakes had to be shimmed that the motor had to be pulled and that the time to do the job would be like 30 hours labor. Anyone had any experience with this yet?

As many of you have discovered, when we forked over ~ $25,000 to Ducati for their latest, glorious superbike, we did not pay for a chain adjustment tool.
To me, this is ridiculous; but, OK I figure I'll buy one because I should probably have the right tool for the job and not f#ck-up my bike...
