torque

Anyone have recommendations for a cheap 1/2" torque wrench that can get to 170ft/lbs? I have the harbor freight 3/8 and 1/2 inch and they were cheap and served me well. No complaints but the 1/2" maxes out at 150 ft lbs which is 20 short of spec for the rear nut.

Searched in different forums and found ambiguous information. Even the Ducati workshop manual seems to be not clear how to properly torque the stem nut (the big screw in the middle of the upper front fork yoke). I just know that the bearings have to be put under tension. Some say 22Nm, some...

I've replaced the rear suspension link with an adjustable Sato. I need the torque for the long Allen bolt that feeds through and screws into the swingarm. Also the front nut/bolt. Maybe some day we can get a shop manual for all these :confused:

Got the AFAM sprockets and carrier and they don't come with any torque settings. Anyone who has done this have the torque setting for the rear and front sprocket? The Cush drive nuts on the 1098 are 48nm. Not sure if these are the same value for the 1199.

I am about to adjust the chain tension, but of course the manual states the need for making sure the chain adjustment screws on the swing arm ( figure 180 on page 224) are tight, but provides no indication of the torque setting. Any key know?

Ive read a lot of posts on here and was just wondering what the actual torque settings are for certain things. for example one was the oil bolt. said 9lbs ft per square inch. is that right? i asked a machanic which torque wrench i should get and he said are you looking for ft/lbs or in/lbs...

Does anyone know the correct torque for the swingarm pinch bolts. I have to adjust the chain. Did a search and saw people mentioning 35NM, but they said it came from the Streetfighter manual. Is it definitely the same on the 1199? Many thanks
