Guys, Looks like the exhaust flapper valve is stuck in the closed position. I've not done any mods. I'd like to disconnect but it looks like the cable won't retract into the tube. Where is the other end? Can anyone show me how I might be able to fix this myself?

Just removed my termignini's from my 1199 as she is on her way to make way for 1299 and when removing them (dealer fit) I noticed the cable off the exhaust valve is missing and the valve is locked in open position, does this make any difference with stock exhaust? PS the mist difficult...
