Just for laugh: Racing with wet mode

After a soaked qualifying session, I forgot to turn the wet mode off when it came race time (and the track was dry). Ended up about 3 - 5 seconds slower than my normal lap times (around 1:14 - 1:12), in a very unhealthy way. But at least I got to prove one thing: that thing can still...

    Caught in the rain...

Out for a ride and low and behold the sky opened up while I was on my 2012 1199 S. Needless to say that I was not a happy camper knowing that the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP's were on the bike. Well, we made it home, in-tact, a little wet, but intact. The tires held up well and there were...

What's your riding mode (wet, sport, race)

I was curious... What's everybody's preferred riding mode. Personally, I started out in the wet mode, but quickly changed to the sport. It seems the sport mode has enough power to keep me interested for now. Does anybody ride daily in "race".

    Handling in the wet

Just come back from a tour of Ireland on my 1199. To say It got wet is an understatement. Bike in wet mode and it was still twitching around when not really pushing it that hard on the twisties. Front went once an the rear was just all over the place. Think DTC save me from dropping it on a...
