Hello everyone,

I want to keep my original exhaust (at least for now) and I believe some of you also want to keep your original exhaust.

Yes, you can buy a FULL Carbon Belly Pan for stock exhaust from Ilmberger, but you will need to paint them if you want to match the rest of your bike.
However, and Ilmberger solutions is about double the price (even before painting cost). For me, it is not about the cost but I prefer Ducati factory painted parts if possible so it will match the upper side fairings.

Lieb Speed made a very nice Lower Carbon Belly Pan Extension for either Akrapovic optional Slip-On or Full System exhaust:
Verkleidungs - Unterteil für Akrapovic Slipon Auspuffanlage Panigale V4 / V4S / Speciale / R - Kopie
or the install video here:
And I was originally thinking of cutting/trimming this Lieb Speed version, but there are some dome and curve that I think will not fit our bike exhaust well.
I asked Peter Lieb several times about this, but for some reason, Peter never responded back. (I hope he is doing well but I notice he haven't update his facebook page for a while too).

Then, I found Carbott Composites based in POLAND who supply carbon parts to this Ducati racing team: Ducati | Racing Team Toruń
and had made custom Lower Carbon Belly Pan Extension (but for non V4 model) in the past: PANIGALE-CARBON-BELLY-PAN-KIT-EXTENSION

I asked Carbott Composites to custom made for me, I want it to have the same PLAIN MATTE Carbon Fiber pattern to match Ducati Performance original pattern and color, and the similar mounting like Peter Lieb's version.
and Carbott Composites agreed but have minimum order of 4 pieces so it will cover their molding cost.

So I want to find out if anyone else will be interested in doing SEMI Group Buy, meaning we all coordinate about our interest, but we all pay directly and separately to Carbott Composites,
and we also don't have to worry about logistics (and extra cost) because Carbott Composites will ship directly to you, which means this is not limited to just USA based participants.

Carbott Composites told me the ESTIMATE price is Euro 380 per set (I believe not include shipping cost).

If anyone interested, please kindly post it here and private message me your email so I can have Carbott Composites reach out to you and send a PayPal invoice (when they are ready).

NOTE OF CAUTION: I had NEVER order from Carbott Composites before, so I do NOT know the FIT & QUALITY of their product. There will be RISK involved here, and I am NOT getting any commission or profit from this. I just want to be able to purchase this parts without having to pay for 4 sets by myself, but I cannot assume any responsibilities if turn out Carbott Composites disappoint you for any reason with this order.

Below are the pictures to show which parts that I mean by Lower Carbon Belly Pan Extension (I marked them with orange marker):

I'm actually looking for belly pan options as my Akrapovic is coming in the next two weeks.I actually like the Lieb setup after looking at the YouTube video.

I also talked to Lieb through Facebook and he said he's developing a full CF belly pan for the Panigale V4 that's a direct bolt onto the fairing. He said he needed about another two weeks before he's done with it but who knows how long that'll really take.

in this case, your patients will pay off. That’s going to be a real nice piece. If u have a trusted body shop, you could get some custom paint on there with some exposed CF

who is installing the Akra?

Yea I've only heard great things about his products. The Akrapovic is coming from Italy so its going to be 2 weeks maybe more so I'm not in too much of a hurry

My dealer will be installing it

Exciting!
Have them fit radiator guards to it during the exhaust install and it’s probably a good time to put the Samco hoses on and fill with VP stay frosty or Engine Ice. Shouldn’t run the bill up too much cause the radiator comes out during Akra install

That's true I have to order those as well thanks for the heads up

Ive ordered stuff for some guys from Carbott Composites. Inexpensive and their parts arent really bad. Actually they are pretty good. My only gripe with them and this has no bearing on your V4 owners. They make the extended belly in pan in both fiberglass and carbon fiber for us 1299 guys that installed a Undertail exhaust. The problem is that its a two piece extended belly pan. The two pieces get bolted together from underneath the belly pan. But there is no where to mount it. So you have to drill into your lower fairings to mount it. And then drill under it to make holes to bolt to the engine part. If youre even off by a C*&T hair it will look stupid.

Regarding Ilmberger. They make the full belly pan for the V4 for both the full system and slip on and in both matte and gloss carbon fiber. The only issue with the full belly pan is the same issue I have with my Ilmberger full RACE belly pan on my S1000RR. There is no opening at the bottom to do an oil change. You have to remove the entire belly pan to do the oil change. Not a big deal. Only a few bolts. I dont understand why Ilmberger did make the V4 belly pan like they did for the BMW S1000RR. Ilmberger has race carbon fiber for the V4 as well as the street carbon fiber. The race is less expensive because its not as glossy as the street. But still glossier than most other carbon fiber companies. And some pieces are a one piece instead of 2 pieces. Yet they made their belly pan for the street the same as for the track. For the BMW S1000RR Ilmberger has the race and street. Same differences like for the V4 except their street belly pan has openings on the bottom to do an oil change.

But Ilmberger also has carbon lower fairings for aftermarket exhausts too. Dont just make a belly pan. The only issue is if you buy them you would need to find the new black plastic that fits onto the lower Ducati fairings you need to purchase in order to make any exhaust other than the termignoni fit. Then you can take that black plastic off and mount in on the lower fairings. I will email Ilmberger tonight and ask why arent they making a lower fairing that doesnt need that black plastic.

See the Ilmberger belly pan doesnt need those plastic pieces that come off the red new lower fairings you would need to buy for the Akra or other exhausts. The lower parts is already shaped as one long piece. Bellypan gloss Panigale V4 Racing Ilmberger Carbon

But Ilmbergers lower fairings would need that black plastic piece that comes with the lower fairings you would buy from Ducati. Then mount them onto the Ilmberger lower fairings. Before anyone says Im wrong. I am an Ilmberger dealer and spoke to Mike from Ilmberger about this. Their lower fairing needs the Ducati black part from the lower fairings you buy. However as I said I will be emailing them today to ask why they dont make their lower fairing the way the lower part of their belly pan is made Bottom side panel left gloss Panigale V4 / V4 S Ilmberger Carbon

Two things I do not like about those carbon lowers. 1. The extra bolts showing on your side fairings. Makes everything look too bolted/pieced together rather than integrated. 2. They don't include the piece that fills the hole on the brake lever side (the factory race lowers include a plastic piece that fills the hole if you don't want to see the pipe).

I'll probably get the evotech. I have the desmoworld one coming in
I just sold the Cox racing to the other day and to JimmyS on Sat. The evotech isnt bad. I had them on my S1000R, S1000RR, and Ducati 1299 at one point. They were harder and more annoying to mount. Im sure the ways they mount is different from bike to bike. But when I removed them and installed the Cox racing , the Cox racing just felt like it mounted better. The Cox racing didnt need parts of the radiator to be unbolted. Again maybe Evotech changed the ways it mounts on the V4 but it was basically almost the same type of mounting on all my 3 bikes. The Cox racing also feels sturdier. It feels like the fit and finish is more high end and my Evotechs had dings and small tiny dents from the small pebbles. So far the only thing I can complain about the Cox racing is that instead of dings and tiny dents. There are tiny marks where the paint chipped off where it was hit by rocks. Yes the Cox racing is a bit more expensive. Not by a huge amount. If Im not mistaken the Cox racing retail for $220 discounted online by 5% and the Evotech may be $180

Are you referring to the Ilmberger ones or the Carbott Composites? That was the issue with the Carbott Composites extended belly pan for 1299. But you has to drill new holes into the lower fairings to mount them and then from the bottom

Hi Cycler,
Yes, there are plenty of solutions for full system or slip on Akrapovic but so far no solution for what I need for my application because, I actually want to purchase "the black plastic only" but in carbon fiber for the stock exhaust (since my Akrapovic Type Approved has the same shape as the stock exhaust).

Hi ArcticWhite, Although those extra bolts make it look "bolted" but with the proper nice bolts and color like ProTi bolts, I think it will actually make it look nice.
Also, my application is for stock shape exhaust, so mine won't have holes that show the pipe.

Anyway, based on initial responses, it looks like there is no interest since most people who modify their fairing with carbon parts, usually also replace their stock exhaust with Akrapovic or other after market exhaust.

I guess, my only solutions is, to make this carbon panel myself.
I had been spending this past few hours studying how to make them, and it's not that hard (at least in theory)... and I can learn along the way...

Ah ok I've only read about the evotech I'll read about the cox
Oh and cox racing makes a few different colors to choose from. They are made here in the US too. Oh Duke72 from Canada is ordering the Cox racing from me too in the next two to three weeks. He ordered a bunch of things as well as the oversuspension that is sitting at my place and when finishes ordering all the parts he wants i will be shipping everything to Canada. Here is a link to their V4 radiator guards. As Ducatikev wrote in another post Ive talked him out buying a bunch of things that arent needed for his bike and saved him and other money. Unless I am familiar with a product and know its quality I never recommend it. But like I said Evotech makes a good solid product too. I wont knock them. I sold a few this week to guys with 2020 BMW S1000RR's and previous generation S1000RR's. I just think the Cox racing is a better quality. Ducati v4 Panigale 1299

exactly why I haven’t bought it. The look of having those additional exposed bolts doesn’t make it a seamless look to me.

BMW Alpine...So your Akra exhaust is the same exact shape as your stock exhaust? What kind of Akra exhaust do you have? Are you using the Akra exhaust thats comes with the V4 25 years Anniversario 916? If Im not mistaken and I may be wrong. But isnt the exhaust that comes with the 25 year Anniversario the same one that is offered as an option for the Street Fighter Here is my Streetfighter V4

Hi Cycler,
My bike is the V4 25 Anniversario 916, that is why I have this Akrapovic exhaust as standard and the picture I had on the first page of this thread was from my bike.

I should have read your post more carefully and not skimmed through the way I did. I read it so fast and didnt realize that was your bike or that it was the 25 year Anniversario. When I looked at the pics you posted I thought you were talking about getting lower fairings like those and when read the part about Carbott Composites I thought the parts you circled were Carbott Composite parts made for a pro race team.

How do you like the 25 year 916 color scheme? Ok spill it, how good does it look in person compared to the way it looks in pics and in youtube videos? Are the differences between the V4S and the 25 year V4S the wheels, paint scheme, and exhaust? Or does the 25 year V4S have other features that the regular V4S not have.

Hi Cycler,

When you have free time, please kindly visit my Build Thread here: Ducati Panigale V4 916 25 Anniversario Build Thread
I still have a long way to go before I finish with all the modifications that I plan for this bike, especially since new ideas keep coming up all the time.

I love the the color scheme of my bike. In reality it is much nicer than the pictures (unless if you can see it in 4K or 8K monitor maybe :D)
You can see the contrast between Red, Black, and White paint along with sprinkle of magnesium color here and that "number 1" really stand proud and you can only better see the contrast in reality than from the computer monitor.
I have the latest picture with the tail modify with "number 1" sticker here: Ducati Panigale V4 916 25 Anniversario Build Thread

I believe The V4S wheel like the V4S Speciale wheel is ALUMINUM forged wheel while the 916 25 Anniversario is MAGNESIUM Forged wheel.
The 916 25 Anniversario basically came with all the options that the V4S Speciale has but the 916 exhaust is the Type Approved Akrapovic while the V4S Speciale came with both stock and Akrapovic Full system exhaust.
Also, the Speciale is limited to 1,500 unit worldwide vs. 916 25Anniversario 500 units worldwide.
I think that is the only differences I can think off right now...

Oh, one more main differences, the 916 25 Anniversario has the BLACK FRAME like the V4R (with holes to reduce it's rigidity so it can have better feel while cornering) which is the same frame as the 2020 version of the V4S,
but the spring rate and suspension geometry are still the same as the 2019 V4S/Speciale. This make the 916 25 Anniversario like an in between model in term of frame and suspension geometry.
It is not a V4R, it is not a 2019 V4S/Speciale but it is also not a 2020 V4S.

Back to the Carbon Lower Belly Pan extension... that would complete the looks that I am targeted for my bike...
