Mysterious Panigale Coolant Issue?

Where are the rear brake lines? Looks like this was done during other work? My bike with ABS had lines going across the top of the cover. Oh, and I have an 1199s Tricolore with full race exhaust. I had to remove exhaust partially and I think the right side foot rest bracket. If I remember correctly I couldn't access those lower bolts otherwise.

Added note: the bolts are of different lengths. Pay attention to which ones are longer!!

Brake lines you are talking about are gone since ABS has been removed I assume. All that rat's nest was gone when I removed my ABS. I had to remove my high mount Termignoni's also to access lower cover bolts...

Who drains and refills their radiator every winter like we should if we plan on keeping vehicle for any considerable period of time? I know I don’t anymore. Ph and acidity don’t stop changing just cuz I got old n lazy tho. Heat cycles n dissimilar metals still do what they do. Whoever spends the time energy and money to drain n refill - my hat is off to you! Keep up the good work : )

I don't run a ABS pump, oil chiller or any of them spare lines it all got .... canned. I think I flush out my water wetter 2-3 times a season super quick n easy.

I ALWAYS went thru race motor at end of the season... if it lived that long : )

Are you running water n wetter in a street bike Mick? Wonder how propylene glycol would run? There is no way I would flush my coolant for some race track and put water in it without water wetter

Update: So the bike was taken apart and there are no issues with the work that was done. I was told it is a thermostat problem so they are going to replace that unit. I still find it curious that the thermostat somehow went bad coincidentally after the above work was done? Also will be getting a new Radiator cap.

Your not the only one to find it curious the thermostat failed during the time it was at the dealer.Are you being billed for the stat job?

Is this a thing???? Most t stat can handle getting burped after a drain n refill. Is it plastic or what? How can this happen? I mean I understand they won’t open in hot air, that they need to be in hot coolant but this makes no sense

just pure Fantasy:
they used a little too much silicone and/or started the engine too early.
normally a thermostat has a bleed hole.(?)
the silicone clogs this bleed hole.
the thermostat opens when fully wrapped by hot water, but this doesn't happen because there is no flow.

Too much silicone where? They never went into the cooling system lol. Maybe pulled one hose that they didn’t even need to pull but dats it. They didn’t pull the pump iirc
