Did some shots up in Tahoe today. Maybe we could share some photos of our Ducati's here.

V nice! It’s still crazy to me how far Ducati pushed their 959. now it’s looking like a premium 2020 model. Love it
How’s that stock exhaust sounding?

To be honest. I don't think ill upgrade it. The nature sound when you rev up past 5k screams. Love it. Smiles per gallon

I'm surprised as well. I might stick with cosmetic stuff on this bike instead. My R1 was fully tuned. Huge noticeable reduction in speed going to V2 but its in my opinion more fun. Especially for the street.

Ok reduction in speed I get but doesn’t that V2 give u a stronger push down low? That’s y I love my 1299 so much for the street, it’s so strong even from like 2,000 rpm if u don’t hold on it’ll shoot right out from under u

I was up in the VC highlands riding today east of Reno. Hit me up if you’re riding around Tahoe anytime soon again.

From what I noticed on my v2, might be pre 500 reduction, but it has just as much pull winding up in speed and I'd say 1st n 2nd is if not just as fast slightly quicker than my r1. But the way my R1 was tuned was direct torque and power from 1/8th throttle.

And I will definitely do that! I hit VC most of the time but Tahoe was perfect today. Traffic was surprisingly low for memorial weekend.

might be pre 500 reduction,
Someone else mentioned the possibility of it being restricted. I want to find out so I’ll have the bike Dyno tested b4 621 miles service and then again right after to see if there were any real restrictions in place then after all that baselining I’m trying to get some sexy slipons installed and give it another go on the Dyno. If power doesn’t suffer, great! But eventually when Woolich supports these bikes, I’ll have a professional Dyno tune with data logging from street rides. My bike is going to run perfectly. Now I just need radiator and oil cooler upgrade

I'd say there is some restrictions by how it feels until the service. From what I hear you need a dealer to reset some codes n such. I'd definitely be interested to see if its truly making 155hp 80ish torque.

Dyno runs aren’t too expensive. I am interested to see how your generation compares to the 1299. My bike was horrible stock and even with the UpMap and Akra installed. I got the BrennTuning flash and it totally fixed the bike. Now on the V4... this things sweet, everything is really really good, especially DQS. My 1299 tuned doesnt shift as well as the stock V4 and I’d bet that even @cycler’s HM Pro quickshifter isn’t any better than this.
If ur V2 is herkey-jerkey or does what we call juddering, and if it runs hot, it will be beneficial to have a real tune or a good flash done when available. If ur bike runs great, that’s great! Good job Ducati. Keep us posted beyond ur first service

Definitely, I plan to keep updates on the project.

So far no jittery throttle except for sub 25mph so far thats any bike over 600cc. With my R1 It came out at 191wheel with sbu tune, full pipe. It personally didn't endup liking the ridability of the bike after tune. Was way too fast and hard to figure out the throttle position for anything.

I'd also say that the dqs is pretty solid for upshifts. Downshifts is a little weirder, it has a slight delay and harder jerk on low decel. Hard braking its fine but weird if your just cruising going down in gears with ducati engine braking.

I would like to get the suspension setup for me 6'3 245lb. And would like to get the settings dialed in. Haven't messed with them much aside from reducing the engine braking.

Nice, ur tall. I’m sure that bike is decently comfortable for u. I’m 5’10 and I can’t make my v4 go backwards without getting off. It’s bad

hit up Dave moss for a suspension setup, he’s the wizard on YouTube but for not very much money he will do a FaceTime/Skype call with you and get u dialed in. You’ll be happy you do

I watch a video with him n calimoto fix the streetfighters suspension.

There is tons to do with this bike and so little time. Full work swing started back today. So weekends are my routine tinkering days

Same haha.

I've been on a spending spree. Just need to find a decent non rupes buffer for this weekend. That things a beast but for 500 idk.

I got the ceramic inbound with some detail polish and 6ft roll of xpel pro.

sweet. I’d say go polish your car to get used to whatever polisher u get. That little Wen one from amazon is super ez but it’s not going to do anywhere near as well as something like the Rupes. If I was buying the small (nano) medium and large rupes units, I better be making money with them

I'll definitely invest in them later down the road. I was looking at some of the flex ones and they look pretty good for sub300

I was looking at that chemical guys kit. Is that small enough for some of the curves for the V2? I know the inner body fairing is behind the outside panel so idk.
