Spider clip ons - new clutch and brake lines?

Howdy,
I'd like to ask the experts here, I'm currently putting on Spyder clip-ons which are about an inch wider than stock.. Now I'm having clearance issues with the OEM lines. Anyone came across that as well? I'm not ready yet to give up ABS.. Any vendor who is making prefab lines for a 2023 bike? Or am I just to stupid and there is slack somewhere that I haven't seen yet?

When I was messing around with clip-ons that were wider I don’t remember having a problem with the length of the brake and clutch lines. I do have a lock stop saver installed which slightly limits left right so that may be a factor. Frentubo (spelling) makes an ABS line kit, but I think it’s an exact duplicate of stock.

I looked into bars as well and bailed due to the faffery. Allegedly you can get away with the stock lines if your offset isn’t far from stock. If you go to a 15 mm like the Dbk ones it’ll be tight or unfeasible. I mocked it up and did some measurements and the odds weren’t in the favor of it being turnkey. The bars would be about 30 mm closer to the center of the forks than OEM and the lever position would be farther from the yoke. I’m not sure you could get that amount of slack from the stock lines. And I wasn’t going down the rabbit hole of new lines.

Also, for some reason the WSBK and GP riders prefer the stock offset and not tangential. Even the shorter riders like Bautista and Martin.

Which Spider clip ons did you go for? The 25mm offset ones are fine with original lines.

So they are about an inch longer than the stock. It’s tight up there anyway, at least with the stock fairing. I was hoping to get closer reach, I’m 5’3, so every mm counts.

yes both the clutch line and the brake master cyl line will be tight as you go from lock to lock, to the point where you are stretching the crimped ends in a way they are not supposed to be pulled.

If you are going for the change to different bars why not just get a pair of longer pipes made up?

Its the difference between bolting something on and fitting something properly.

Yes, I have had the same issue just now with the CNC racing clipons. It is the extended part that goes around the fork leg that pushes out the brake and clutch cylinders a bit. I have extended the lines as much as possible by changing angles on the banjos etc. and also adjusted the stop bolts for the fork and it is okej now.
I have ordered a fork stop now, to be safe but have not got it installed yet.
