No, it's real. I was in the shop yesterday where they were finishing it up... Owner is actually taking a huge trip on it, and it now has a large "saddlebag" if you will on the tail. I'd think it has the power to leave a hell of a roost...

Ya think.:D:D:D

Hey! That service dept. and red room look familiar... Motocorsa! My favorite Ducati dealer.:D

Is that your new around the world bike Anti?

There's only one bike I could do an around the world trip on....couldn't abandon my own S. But I could swap out the tires. :)

To clarify--it's not my bike! If I could have a second one, it'd be my first choice, though.

Oh man, Too cool. I guess I know who to go to if I want that kind of tire fitment. Is that real CARC (chem agent resistant) urethane paint? Awesome pics!

When I was in there, He said that it has an 1198 front wheel, with some spacers for the brake discs, and they had to make up some brackets to raise the front hugger. I did not catch why it could not just use the stock 1199 front wheel.

It'd be nice if they have a standard package for the tire fitment and exhaust skid plates. I think that maybe irrespective of the tire sizing, the knobs may interfere...not sure. On the web I found a BWM S1000RR naked and fitted with these tires.

Oh, yeah I see the added clearance on the front fender, I think that is to clear all the debris that will be kicked up! Those are highly rated tires suitable for street, but the speed rating will no longer be maintained for the Pani I think.

what's that on the back?

\\something like this?\\

FAQ ? EN | MoBed

It was just one of those gear bags that flops over both sides of the bike, though that tent thing is pretty cool. ;)

The rims are stock sized, but yes, they used 7-Spokers from a 1098R? I think? The tires on the TerraCorsa can be mounted on the stock rims, but they went with these because the bike was a wreck-buyback-project bike. I'm guessing that the stock ones were damaged and they used what they had. The tires WILL fit on the stock 1199 rims, but he did mount the front fender up higher for clearance.

They're off in the desert running the bike through its paces. This wasn't a bike that was just built for show. I'll pass along links and pics/video when I come across them.

And nope--not chem resistant paint--just a rattle can job! BTW--that Black/White flag on the front is an Italian Tank battalion symbol. They nailed this one down to the last detail. (Quentin Wilson is the man!).

love it!!!

shoot me a PM with their contact if you think they need a lowcost badass exhaust!!!!!

:D

damnit, just saw they have the quiet termignoni on the bike....

That's unfortunate. I was hoping that by posting the pictures you were alluding to an upcoming desert voyage of some kind! Very neat bike, though.
