I just throw a sheet over the bikes while in the garage.
How much is that cover, is looks cool.

$500.

It's really nice material. Snug and stretchy.
But I wouldn't buy one.

Got mine as a gift and only just recently found out what it was worth.

I'll just throw a $20 cover over it. No need to spend $500 for a glorified cloth.

And funnily enough, because it's so nice, I don't want to get it dirty.
Which means the bike needs to be kept clean(er than it does).

So lots of $, for a really nice cover, to sit in its bag on the shelf.

Sheet = better option.

i assume that you can wash it if it gets dirty on the inside from the bike and weather the outside design and color will stay on after repeated washes?

anyone got the ducati indoor bike cover?

I've ordered this already and will get it along with the bike. Just wondering if anyone has this already and if so, it is a high quality cover? what material is it made from?

-they are a nice cover
-come in a zip up bag
-very soft material very light weight
- made by Cover car
- 100% polyester

Yup, thats it in a nutshell and its very nice!!

Seriously, when you've spent 30,000 Euro's on a motorcycle, is there really any sense in getting all cost conscious over a 250 Euro tailor made factory cover.

I think not.

I got the Ducati 1199 Panigale cover. It is very nice and provides a custom fit for the bike (even though I don't have a 1199 in hand). Due to the wait I decided to start collecting the accessories on an as available basis.

The customer cover is expensive, however I choose to get ALL the parts and accessories and view it all in the context of total price. For those waiting on alarms, and the remaining carbon fiber pieces they ship from Italy on the 16th May.

I have Tricolore on order, however based on my USA March30th 2012 confirmation I reckon that I may end up not seeing the bike at the till the end of 2012, at which point it would make more sense for me to cancel and re-order for early 2013.

Yeah the Ducati and the accessories are expense, however I can afford them and I am in my early 40s and all this stuff is a lot cheaper than my Yacht.
