Has anyone ever seen a dyne chart of the three 1199 power modes? Curious about the differences in power delivery of 195lo and 120 modes vs the (what I assume) Race/195hi mode used in the various magazine dyne tests.

Also super curious here.

I keep hearing that the "Hi" mode is a "Sharper" throttle response which results in more unintentional wheelies.

Thoughts, anyone? I've not spent a ton of time determining the difference, as any time I'm hard on the throttle, I hit the posted speed limits in 2 seconds.

Since I got my latest software update, I can't tell much difference between them in terms of throttle response.
120 in wet mode is much closer in throttle response to what 195 lo originally was.
At least that's what my butt dyno tells me.

Before the update there was a huge difference between the modes with regard to how the power came on.
Now it's like they've been brought closer together.

I do wonder what a properly set up set of dyno runs would've revealed between the before update and after update states of tune.

There is no power difference between 195LO or 195HI, all that's changed is the progressivity of the throttle mapping. Pretty sure with the last update they reduced the progressivity of the 195LO mode to make it a bit more linear, and that all 120 mode really does is limit your max throttle opening at 100% grip rotation. No need for it to do anything else.

Without any changes to fueling or timing at all, it would be possible to change the bike's "feel" by just changing throttle mapping. Make the curve a bit more aggressive in the early part of the rotation and everyone would be raving about how much gruntier their bikes were at low revs, when in fact on a dyno there would be zero change.
