I've tried searching but I wanted to ask those who would know best.

What are the main differences between these models? Besides paint of course;)

Tricolore comes with termi slipons, Ohlins DES front n rear suspension, lighter marchesini wheels, led headlights, and some carbon pieces. I'm assuming by standard you mean the base model. If you mean the S model, then the only differences are the termi slipons and paint scheme. Maybe some carbon? Unsure about the carbon.

Awesome...Thanks for the help my friend!

I've been considering the Tricolore more and more as I think about what I'll buy come spring. Just waiting to see what the 1299 is all about tomorrow and then I'll have a better idea what route I'm going to go.

ABS is also standard on the Tri if comparing to older base models. Outside of that DoubleO is spot on. The carbon is the front fender and that's about it.

Dammit Mike. I want the tri also and my name is mike. Get out of my head.

Absolutely! I'm planning to go to NYC bike show come December. Can't wait to see all the cool bikes like the 1299 coming out.

But I still want the 1199 Tricolore. It's just too dang sweet!

That it is dude. Sexiest Duc ever. Peep the pm I sent ya. I'm going also just want to verify the day, I know a few other's going Saturday.

Gets better and better. It seems like its worth the extra money for what you get and the unique look as well.

Having owned both - no comparison get the Tri! There are many threads on the differences, specs, but nothing compares to the ride , looks ,etc. Cheers!

By your logic (a terrible one might I add) my white Panigale was also limited edition. Even more rare than yours since it was only sold in 2013.

Looks great in the sun......

Are you talking to me?

Oh and white Panigales are simply unpainted Panigales. You may choose you own colour(s)...
