Recently had n issue start with my pan, 1199 2013 uk model.

Fuel light came on and bike felt boggy filled up felt instantly better stopped for 90mins and had trouble starting up due to it slipping into gear , got started with booster pack rode home felt very heavy vibrations intermittently with bogging down in the revs but came back quickly, now bike doesnt start turns trys to fire some times then nothing. Checked and cleaned fuses had new battery 8 weeks ago and is stored on optimate am guessing fuel injector blocked or spark issue any help is appreciated

Also odd spit of flame during turning over so assuming there is some fuel in there

Charcoal canister can flood with fuel after fueling up too high. Lots of threads on this subject.

Does your bike have charcoal canister?

Thanks but as far as i am aware the european and uk ducatis dont have these fitted

What do you mean slipping into gear? The indicator on dash showing in gear or actually jumping out of neutral? Might have bad gear sensor. Fueling is gear dependent.

As it started the dash went from neutral to 1st but wasnt in gear is now showing neutral, but it is now getting close to starting up just never quite catches i am leaning toward a clogged injector or two just hoping for some insights if i am over looking an easier fix

You may have fouled spark plugs. Happened to my 13 R three years ago… I replaced both spark plugs and bike fired up right away, some people replaced vertical cylinder spark plug first due to easy access and if that is an issue bike will start on one cylinder and other one will fire up shortly.
I can tell you that front plug is a bear to get to so if you decide to replace it and want to loosen the radiator but not remove it completely, protect radiator fins from bending with piece of cardboard.
Good luck.

Thanks added to the list and thanks for the cardboard trick will use and revert once she fires
