Following three years of competition my 2022 V2 dropped a valve. It is dyno tuned and has an aftermarket ecu, but is otherwise stock internally. However, since the motor is going to be pulled, I am contemplating building the engine up for more power. The question is, would it be a worthwhile investment? I see there are several options for motor upgrades including a 993 big bore kit, carrillo rods, ext... What kind of horsepower can I achieve with these types of upgrades and proper dyno tuning? With my full system termi exhaust/tuning the stock motor achieved 154 horsepower on the dyno.

I have been interested in a bit more power from a lighter flywheel. On the 1199, it saves 3lbs, but I am not sure if our flywheels are already proportionally lighter than the 1199's.

Which aftermarket ECU did you use? My racebike is using a downloadable map and all of those from BT Tuners, Deussen, etc. leave a lot to be desired.

Our compression ratio is 12.5/1 but the R6 uses a 13.1/1 and the RS660 uses a 13.5/1, so high comp and/or larger bore pistons might be possible.
