Picked up my 1199R 2 weeks ago. Ordered some parts from Motovation USA and their service is stellar! Just broke 1000kms yesterday so the bike is going into service today. Love how the Redline changes from 6k to 11k rpms. Then tomorrow... Parts go on.

- DP Comfort seat
- Luimoto custom seat cover
- Magical Racing carbon smoked windscreen
- DP carbon fender eliminator
- Rear LED signals
- Marchesini Forged Magnesium gold wheels
- DID Gold x-ring chain
- Rizoma rearsets
- Driven Grips (gold)
- DP bar ends (gold)

Everything should be on by tomorrow night! Sorry for the premature post... Just excited!

Love the bike, and very informative community!

Good taste!

I see you wasted no time :)

Those Marchesini wheels are :p

PanigaleR - Thanks!

topolino - Thanks!

flobrandx - Will do! Will post pics tomorrow night!

Congrats! What other mods are you planning?

Have you had any of the stalling issues mentioned here?

Sorry for the thread jack, any R owners have a list of items I should make sure the dealer goes through before I take delivery of mine?

Cheers

Yea, tighten everything. The R spits out screws even worse than the other models. My R is track only, and you need to bleed the clutch frequently when abusing it at those power levels. I think I am just going to do it before every track day, whether it needs it or not.

Those wheels will look great. Although your rear indicators are already LED(No 4 OSRAM LYE65F LED).

I don't know what other parts I'm planning yet. It'll come. But thanks!

Yes i had plenty of stalling issues. followed the other thread and bent the clutch pin a bit and it was much better.

As said above. It spits screws! One of by fairing screws came off. Dealership replaced it of course. That's it.

Oops also forgot to add CRG Carbon Levers to the list. The thing is art!

Really? They don't look LED...

Turn them on and have a look...
Admittedly the video I watched on YouTube had a guy replacing the signals with led apparently
I had a cnt of a time installing my eliminator

Nope they're not LED...

Some phone pics... These wheels really make a huge difference in "flickability"...

Sorry you are probably correct my error. I know in the USA you guys have bigger indicators. I have a Australian model Panigale S from 2012 and my manual says i have LED rear indicators.

I should not have presumed your USA "R" model has the same ones. I must admit I have never pulled my indicators apart to confirm there are LED inside.

You know what they say about assuming. Oops.
