1199R 2 weeks old... Starting to collect parts...

My rears were LED on my base, the internals are now residing in the headlights. Strange how the same bike can vary from country to country, however was the R really designed for the road? more for the track, so maybe a cost cutting venture by Ducati??

Nice set up. I also have the gold magnesium wheels also. I am thinking about selling them and pick up some gold anodized Marchesini forged aluminum wheels for the extra durability since I plan on riding the bike on the street as well as the track.

I hear aluminum wheels are much easier/cheaper to get fixed if the wheels gets out of true.

That is true. However I like the benefit of lighter wheels. Can't go wrong either way!

Thanks. IMO I rather get a smaller amount of quality parts than a large amount of mediocre parts. Plus...modding bikes is much much cheaper than modding cars!
