1199R Block Off - Come w/bike?

I pick up the R tomorrow and requested the dealer to take the mirrors off and put the factory block off plates onto the bike. They informed me that the bike is not shipped with the block off's in the box and that I would need to order a pair if needed.

Does the factory R come with the aluminum block off's in the box with the bike? If so, can you please assist me by providing info that I may share with the dealer since there is a dispute? Thanks,
 
Either your dealer is misinformed or he's trying to pull a fast one... If he's trying to sucker you for 150$ mirror Block offs then Run! Only God knows what else "it doesn't come with"

It's in the literature the "R" comes with the plates.

Thanks.. I will use this information.. I had some problems going back and forth as we attempted to close this business. It was on the phone so I was not prepared to argue over some of the smaller details.. I will make sure I receive them when I pick up the bike. Thanks Soulrider for the info..

Just an FYI. The plates are also listed on the white paper you receive with your box of goodies (DDA, owners manual, spare key, pegs, etc).

it comes with the R... that dealer sure doesn't know their product or just trying to rip you off.
 
Thanks for all the replies. There was some communication issues between the new sales person and management putting together the numbers. The R I but was the floor model so the new person was uninformed about the block offs. The management corrected this mistake right away. I will pull those bunny ears off the bike after I hit the 600 mile service and install the aluminum block offs.
