Have read how the 'R' comes with the "Full Termi" system and I would like to confirm what system this is exactly.
With reference to the press kit handout from COTA (thank you AH) - 'Exhaust Systems - for R versions only' - graph shows the OEM, Racing EVO and Racing Pro respective performance. Is 'OEM' the system that comes standard on the R? OEM certainly implies standard but the performance shown falls short of the 200 crank hp which I understood this bike turns out with the 'standard' system. Thanks.

you get the middle one - also called the racing evo. The pro has the manifold kit which requires removing the radiator fans and rear pegs (track use only, or it'll overheat in town riding).

the bike gets delivered with the OEM road exhaust installed and the EVO in the box.
the to upgrade to superstock , there is the PRO manifold to be put on with EVO cans. this one gives the most effect on whp and torque and cost 2K euro extra.

Sorry, don't know about that.. but why wouldn't they? haven't heard from differences yet.. the race cans always have come in a seperate box, haven't they?

my guess is that they will be delivered the same as the Tri - street legal cans on the bike at delivery with the option to put the track mufflers on if you choose.

Thanks for the information. Didn't realize that's how it was being done with the Tri.
When I read about the 'R' being equipped with the full Termi system I incorrectly understood this to mean that's how the purchaser picked it up from the dealer. Thanks for setting me straight.

1199R EVO Racing Kit - Different Heat Shield?

the bike gets delivered with the OEM road exhaust installed and the EVO in the box.

Have seen photos of the OEM heat shield on recently delivered
1199Rs. Is there a different heat shield in that race kit?

My R had the standard installed and termi's in the box.

Dealer recommended installing after breakin period. Not sure if tat s how there's are doing it...but seems to make some sense.

Added plus is that it will be like new and different about the time my excitement level has normalized.
