What's up everyone... This might be the wrong place to post this so a MOD feel free to move if needed!

This Past weekend I was finally able to make the trek down south to Jennings GP to break the cold snap here in Ohio and ride the new to me Beastie... 2012 1199S I changed NOTHING on it mechanically just cleaned it up made it mine... there maybe some changes coming soon.. but for now.. all I can say was man its as fun as I expected it to be. I've been tracking / coaching and a few races here and there on my 2008 R6 since 2009... I've ridden man 1000's and a few on the track including my old 2013 1199 base while coaching interemediate..

but this was the first time I got to ride it for me!

best time of the weekend for me was 1:23.87 very respectable for only having 3 days on the bike

anyways quick pic of the old look.. then the fun stuff

managed a front over 3 days... 2 days then flipped

1 rear over 2 days... flipped after the day was over then taken off the second.

my suspension was spot on... and I'm really good on tire wear

That's sweet. It was my first time at Jennings at the beginning of February, loved it! That track is really abrasive, chews up those tires pretty good...

that's great,i went through 1 front and two rears over 2 days. i found the track destroys tires plus i was messing around setting up suspension which didn't help.

looks awesome, nice pictures!
what seat material did you put on the bike?

I must admit I'm a bit more attracted of your bike's "old" design.

I love Jennings i've been going 1-2 times a year for about 7 years now... Jennings is by far the most "abrasive" track that I visit. buddy of mine is ridiculously fast runs 18's there and was destroying a rear a day sometimes before lunch on his 15 r1

the seat material is HT moto they sell it in many color combos in 1x1ft squares... its great stuff. pure race seat though zero padding so if you like padding you wont get it

I liked the original too but the orage was ridiculously faded cracked and whatnot..

i was running Michelin Power slick EVO and power cup EVO tires for anyones information

200/55 rear and standard front...

I've ran the cup Michelins for a long while now with great results.

they just started letting him do that.. surprisingly a lot of the time you never even noticed him...

there are other pics I have that looks like I could touch him!

Very nice form, how tall are you out of curiosity. Look like a big guy. #nohomo lol

thanks, BP is constant work, I usually look a lot better only 3 days on the bike and way different Ergo's totally threw me off! :p

I'm quite the opposite actually.. I'm 5'10" 155lbs with gear

Damn...surprised you don't get blown off the bike on straights....lightweight!! Pretty slim for 5'10.

Sweet! I was able to get end of June off, so I'll be looking for you there to get a tow and learn a few things!

hopefully i'll be in your class 1 of the days that weekend! be more than happy too

our director schedules who coaches what group before we even show up lol
