ECU remap is undetectable by factory diagnostic equipment, took my 2015 BMW GS for remap then took it to dealer to hook it up to network showed nothing, not modified, nothing, all hes doing is getting the bike to run as ducati would like it to run.

I had my ECU fully flashed as well along with full termi system, switch front sprocket and air filter versus buying rapid bike and I can say it turned out remarkable. More torque under 6k and took away the jitteriness. 130mph third gear power wheelies like you hear everyone talking about. My map was busy for the mwr a
Race air filter and my exhaust. It got rid of the low fueling issues increased throttle response and turned off my 02 sensors and exhaust valve. If I ran a bike with no exhaust it would shoot flames out the exhaust.

Who did your reflash?

Is Bren working on a 1299 flash? I don't anything on their website

Thomas Performance, he used to own a dealership in my town now he just works on mostly race bikes out of his shop. Grade A work without a doubt as he knows his stuff.

I am sure the reflash is a great way to get the bike to run right (if you know someone that has the skill to do it properly) Just don't tell the dealer it was done.. My dealer actually reprogrammed the ECU to try to help me And when the Factory rep found out he told them they had voided my warranty and they were force to purchase me a new one .

The factory rep was just looking for any excuse not to have to deal with it.. In the end the mechanic did some research on his own and found out the traction control unit can be updated/reprogrammed and he downloaded software and that fixed the sticking throttle when de accelerating in first gear

**Of course it still stalls on me about once a week.. That is a different issue altogether..

I think the engine just loses vacume for some reason becaseu when it stalls it is very sudden like it is gasping for air.. The last time It stalled on me was when I was leaving a parking lot this last Friday and just before it did it I smelled gas like it was running really rich..?
This was the first time I noticed the gasoline smell but maybe that is because it happened just as I was pulling out and was barely moving? Any one else ever notice their bike has a heavy gas smell before it stalled?

Speedy
