The taillight blank looks basically the same as the headlight blank, where there would normally be the clear lens it is a gloss black plastic.

T Rex sliders are awesome saved my bike from serious damage from a 20' slide on a crash at TWS didn't even touch the tank..

I went with the GB Racing protective "bundle" for mine. Used the GB stuff on several bikes and it has been great.

Yes they are I had them on my 1022 ZX10 track bike.. However the T Rex's thick pucklike slider on the clutch side of the Panigale will give MUCH more slide and Impact protection and is bolted on at 4 points to the clutch cover/housing area and redistributes the impact across a broad area
During the highside my bike hit HARD and then slid over 15 to 20 ' and the puck actually wore down at least 1/2 inch ..(it sticks out about Ione inch) The GB unit would have already worn all the way through at that point Also, the GB unit doesn't stick out enough to keep the edge of the tank from sliding on the pavement like the T Rex unit did during my crash.... My tank did not have a scratch on it.

The left side unit sticks out a lot more(no it is not very pretty) and has a CNC billet aluminum brace that is mounted to distribute the impact across a broader area. It NEEDS to stick out farther in order to protect the shock and suspension components.. That is a VERY expensive side from which to slide across the tarmac...!

Just my observation.. All crashes are different.. The T- Rex unit is NOT pretty but it works and is very well designed..:) For me on a track bike it is the very best way to go. and there are no mods to the bodywork etc.. NO cut mounting..

Nice body work! How much is it and is it easy to fit?
Finally they are coming out with some good stuff for the 1299...:D If only someone would come out with a better windshield that will fit the 1299. (the 1299 is a totally different mounting arrangement than the 1199) The Ducati "Racing" unit is real thin and it is $180.00! I cannot believe Puig or Zero Gravity etc. has not got one out on the market for the 2015 Panigale with the newer body style yet?

It fits exactly the same as the OEM stuff. The front fairing is about $600 and the tail is about $170. All the fasteners and electrical bock off plugs are included.

Correct, it is not suitable for racing when the bellypan needs to catch oil.

Pardon my ignorance on this one, but do you remove the front headlight, or does that plastic block off cover them without removing?

The headlight gets removed as does the taillight. The pieces you install in their place are the same size and shape as their respective assemblies.

Yes, they are Rizoma....

I installed those after a new miss at a track day....We were told we could only outside pass.....I could have made the corner bu thought I might have spooked the rider than came all the way across

And I painted the white bodywork

What trackday org and group was that?

All three of those guys were in weird spots and all of them went left to go right.

Was that at VIR?

That was the Intermediate group at VIR going into turn seven.

I normally ride Advanced group, but went out in the Intermediate group to record my Son.

Followed my Son for a couple of laps until he blew turn 7.

I then rode the rest of the session, obeying the Intermediate group rules (most of the time), which is why I took that outside line going into seven. I would normally have gone up the inside.

The guy at the front of the group claimed he was a control group rider for the R1 group and states he never saw me even after I passed him on the outside.

I got a blocking from the control rider at the end of the session for coming back onto the track (18:50). He hadn't even cleared turn 6 when I came back onto the track and I was waved back on by the marshall waiving the checkered flag on the right side of the video.

Here's the whole session
