I'll start first. Please dictate mods and overall experience.

Me: base 1299 stock with cruise and tune flashed.
Out the box pretty sweet. Cruise control is awesome. I did autotune with narrowband. It does take quite a bit of time to populate all TP vs RPM. With limited time I was able to populate 1/2 of squares between up to 15% throttle and 7000rpm. Found a decent amount of cells needed 10% more fuel to achieve a calculated 13.2 ratio. Idle and off idle was extremely lean. Needed 10% plus fuel @ idle. Applied trim and feels great. Was having quite an issue of randomly stalling at stops and intersections on almost every ride. So far with 10%ish fuel add around idle and off it has been great. No stumbles or stalls so far knock on wood.

Tuneboy pluses for me so far.
Cruise control!!!!!.
Added fuel idle and slightly off and have not stalled in intersection one time. Stock must be super lean to meet regulations. After adding 10%ish around idle and off haven't had the fear of being a$$ packed at a red light.

Has to be a couple more people with Tuneboy on the 1299. I thought one on here actually had his dyno tuned with it. Be interested in to just see the magnitude of fuel adds across the board in general from initial chosen flash.

Hoping to see V6 Tuneboy files coming out soon. Looks like Launch Control has been figured out.

Currently getting launch control done on my 1199 as we speak, will let you know how it goes once i pick the bike up

I've gotten it done. I don't know what the final trims were, but we spent a total of 12 hours of dyno time getting the map done.

I love the cruise control. How did I ever live without it before??

My bike never stalls anymore, I can roll in 2nd gear in idle without touching the throttle without getting bucked out of my seat, midrange power dips are gone, and I got 198hp at the rear wheel. You could say I'm happy!

Cruise control is fab, looking fwd to the launch control :D
I need to get my bike properly dynod though and trimmed properly, no one in Scotland will do it with tuneboy system :(

So your tuner was familiar with Tuneboy? How'd he pick up AFR,TPS, and RPM while tuning? Did he use wideband O2's or a sniffer in exhaust pipe? Any other tricks, tips, or advice on others looking to dyno tune via Tuneboy? Thanks.

he's very familiar with it; has it on his own 1199. after trying a couple options, we went and welded 18mm bungs into both headers to get a direct AFR reading without lag. TPS apparently is controlled by the software itself; I saw several dyno pulls where my tuner just made a few clicks and did not touch the throttle - the software controlled it. RPM is easily measured from clipping a sensor onto a wire (which one I forget but it can be done from either side electronics panel).

Depending on how far you want to travel X-Bikes near Peterborough have experience of Tuneboy and the 1199, not sure if he's done any 1299's yet.

1199 and 1299 are pretty much the same when it comes to tuning, Aslong as the tuner knows tuneboy shouldn't matter what the bike is :)

Just got mine back, we are having issue loading the new V6 updates, will load on the bike but the bike won't start :(

So for now i need to wait for the new updates while tuneboy sort it out. and i will just have to be happy with the auto-blip downshift

Do you have a full aftermarket exhaust? Was that the Reason for welding bungs vs using stock O2 locations? Did he have the O2 output signal connected directly into the Tuneboy module that connects to the bike? Thanks.

Does anyone know if you can invert the qs switches with tuneboy? Or would I still need the harness to do GP shift with oem rearsets?

Not an option. The issue with the switch is on its mechanical side, not electrical.

wow some good reviews so far. This might be at the top of my christmas wish list. even if the out of the box improves the low speed idle and removes stalling issue, not to mention cruise control. I've been debating new leathers but this might improve my safety even more :)

I've been searching it for ease for operation, risks ect. Being a car tuner myself I'll get the making changes part ect and know what I'm changing. Just don't want to deal with unstable software and bricking the computer.
