I would rather look at Oprah in a thong than that exhaust. Wheels? cause they have a bunch of inventory they can't sell so the "Ducati way" is to throw some gimmick on it and sell it to guys who want people to know their bike is "special". Special, says so right there on that thingy on top of the doodad holding the kaflingus and your bike isn't so nanny nanny boo boo.

You just had to bring up Oprah. Sick sick sick man.

The more I look at it the more unappealing it becomes. I feel that if I had that bike I would have to wear shorts and flip-flops and have a mohawk on top of my helmet .

That green part at the bottom doesn't line up with anything...sheesh.
Does anyone know exactly how much more hp/tq that exhaust makes compared to the underbelly akra? I'd love to see a back to back dyno chart.

On the bright side, you 1299R owners can sleep well!

I held back with the big guns long enough. That pipe brought out Oprah not me. When the fat lady sings, its time to take action. That pipe and that thing its attached to need to go back and be buried on the Italian countryside somewhere.

Never thought I'd see the day that any Ducati, let alone a 1299, be compared to Oprah. Bad times :)

Have to agree though, the color scheme doesn't work. The 1199 tricolore was nicer and my Anniversario is better again.

Don't like the exhausts, makes me think of a wheel barrow.

Exhaust belly looks like an off road skid plate wrapped under Santa's sleigh. Meh...my old Tri was way better looking so I'll wait for the V4.

I really want to like it, but I can't. It says to me, look what we had to do to this bike to make it pass the noise and emissions tests. Maybe that's what they mean by telling the whole story. It's not a limited edition, but each one is numbered. Is that because they have years worth of parts to use up because the line had to come to a premature end? Not sure who will buy it. For sure there are guys who will spend £35k on a bike, but some of those only because it's a limited edition. I'm sure it will be great on track and there will be those who can afford that price for a track bike and have no worries because it's not a limited edition 'special'. But do those guys really want the trick paint and red wheels? I hope it's mother loves it.

The paint scheme is subjective but its a beast of a bike per the specs. Ducati did this this after the 1199 SL with the 2015 R. All though its doesn't come close in weight as the SL the performance is almost there, remove the cats and a good tune your right there with the SL performance wise at probably at 1/2 the cost of the SL ($39K USD).

Specs: SL derived engine:
Titanium con-rods and valves, crankshaft with tungsten balancing pads, 116 mm piston with only 2 elastic bands, optimised intake ducts, camshafts with increased lift, throttle body with aerodynamic butterflies, intake funnels differentiated by bank and air racing filter guarantee the incredible 209 hp power at 11,000 rpm and 14.5 kgm of torque at 9,000 rpm.

Compression ratio 13.0:1
Power 154 kW (209.4 hp) @ 11,000 rpm
Torque 142.0 Nm (104.7 lb-ft) @ 9,000 rpm

"The Final Edition Superquadro is fully derived from the 1299 Superleggera with 209 hp at 11,000 rpm and 14.5 kgm at 9,000 rpm. Thanks to the very high power and dry weight of just 168 kg, the Final Edition achieves a weight to power ratio of 1.24 hp/kg.

Dont like the Aprilia colors & paint scheme but it would do as a nice base for a trackday bike!

Two more renditions but larger, with gold or black wheels. Any takers?

To me gold wheels make it look like a clone of the 1098 Tricolore, which I'm sure is why they didn't go that route. The red wheels take the Superbike back to it's roots, kind of gaudy and very easily recognizable, just like the original.
