Well my front sprocket turned up and I booked my bike in to have it fitted, quoted one hour, ended up being two as there is a bracket that runs in front of the sprocket that is only minimally in the way and required removal first (bugger), however I picked her up yesterday, WOW what a different bike!!!! Low down torque, the punch out of corners is amazing, and able to wheelie at lower revs (without trying). I headed up to our Port Hills from dealership collection, numerous twisty up hill sections with a few fast short straights and under hard acceleartion bike appeared easier to control, utilising short shifting kept her in the power in every gear which equates to smoother/faster riding, which I found before there was a slight hesitation or flatness, as one gear too low (needed to be near redline) and next up to high (nearly bogging), now it has that sweet spot in between and as you can tell, really excited.
It is a definate must do (or the rear sprocket) and thanks to everyones input for me to help make this decision. I went this way as I thought why replace a brand new chain just to change the gearing, if I was needing to replace the chain then most probably done a rear sprocket with a quick change system, however extremely happy with the result.
Big thanks to Gunny/Bellisimoto for supplying the right part at a competetive price, even my dealership couldnt source one, so your business card is with them now.
