Track Prep Phase 1
Saturdays plan was to take a morning ride to compare the R to the Anniversario, then strip the fairings to install the clear windscreen, remove the evap canister, and safety wire the exhaust flapper valve and remove its servo.
Unfortunately we witnessed a rider that had been left behind by his group fly off a cliff without his group even missing him. If we hadn't seen this, no one would have known where he was. Bad group riding etiquette that really pisses me off.
So I didn't get home till late and not enough time for the planned work. So what I got done was removal of the bar end mirrors, re-installed factory bar ends, and safety wired the grips. I removed the NRC front signals and replaced them with the DP mirror block offs.
At the rear I removed the NRC turn signals and license plate mounts. I used the DP block off piece that came with the Anniversario to close off the bottom. Unfortunately this was all the time I had available this weekend.
