V2 review after 180 miles.
I am in lurve.
I’ve been riding for 30yrs.
This bike has usable power.
It has a first gear that is actually usable.
The word here is usable. She doesn’t mock you and try to rip your face off - she’s more an eager puppy that is far faster than you and wants to have fun.

With DWC turned off, she’ll lift the front wheel on the throttle in the first 2 gears. Probably first 3 - but running her in and wet slimy roads.

She sounds awesome with the stock cans. About the same as my MV with aftermarket cans. Seriously-no need for aftermarket cans. Pops and spits and bangs with stock cans.

The build quality and engineering is far in excess of my MV Agusta.

The only downside for me for this bike is that I really can’t reach the floor. I can get 1 toe down at once. Which would be ok-till you find a road junction with potholes or an adverse camber.

So yeah, plague aside - I’m very excited about this summer.

Nice review. I do agree the can doesn't sound too bad after she's warmed up. Been riding on and off for ~14 years (mostly under 1000 cc sport bikes), and this definitely feels familiar.

Might be an unpopular opinion and I expect to get .... for it, but it feels as light and nimble as my previous R6 with a helluva lot more power. Certainly fun!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

For what it’s worth, my feet are flat on the ground. I’m 5’8” with roughly 32” inseam. Probably another 1/2” shorter inseam and my feet wouldn’t be flat.

I have stumpy legs....I’m 5’7” with 28” inseam

I love the review.
For the past 6-7 years I've been on liter bikes, so, this power is much for usable. It's a fun bike to ride, that is 100% certain. Initially I complained about the brakes.....I'd like to counter that statement and report that they are perfectly fine.
I can't wait to put some more miles on it.

Im about 500 miles in on mine. 5'8" with a 30' inseam. I cant flat foot it either, but it feels so light that I have zero issues with only my left toes down.

For clarity then Mr Rarr :) what you experience on the bike is what I would have if I got it lowered by 2”.

:)

Also...after a 200 mile trip this afternoon, can confirm power wheelies in 3rd gear.

Do you ride with a boot that has a thicker sole? I'll get flack for admitting this but I typically ride in Converse. If I ride to work in my boots with the thicker sole it is a whole different world.

I wear A* Supertech R boots.
I’ve just ordered a lowering kit for the bike. Will report back.
