I've had a nightmare of a time with my local dealership and getting my fork rebuilt.
-fork seal was leaking
-12/20/2016 took the fork into the dealership
-pitting on lower fork tube, need to replace it to ensure no more leaking
-ordered $350 part (has to come from Sweden)
-2/3/2017 dealership received the wrong part, correct part has to come from Sweden.
-Stopped into dealership on 3/4/2017, they received part will fix it on 3/6/2017.
-called them today 3/7/2017 to see what's going on, was on hold 10 minutes before hanging up. They didn't bother calling me back, so I called in again. Tech is having problems and was waiting for follow up from Ohlins...
Is this suspension really that difficult? I've easily missed about a months' worth of riding from it. Ive tried to find a Parts list so I can see what the delay might be. I do all the work myself on all sorts of things, but suspensions haven't been one I've dared deal with.
