2012 Panigale s tail light blinking on and off

Just got 4 months ago and realized everything will vibrate loose and eventually fall off of this bike! So I took apart tail and noticed plug assembly is loose a.k.a worn from vibration. So I reinforced the plug by slipping a piece of plastic to keep from vibrating. It worked for about a month and now is blinking again. Should I just replace both ends of the plug?
