2013-2014 panigale r changes

I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Panigale R this week. I've been trying to find any information on the new 2014 Panigale R but everything that come up is about the 899. Does anyone know what if any the changes for the 14 year model are. The dealer I'm buying it from has two 13s left and I know I can get a substantially better deal buying a 13. Just don't want to regret (if that could be possible) not buying a 14. Thanks for any replies.

Mike

I have a 2014 R... cannot compare to the 2013 R but definitely much smoother than my 2012 S... as for the Hazard light... I have the red triangle by the indicator switch but that's it - no idea how to use the hazards - there is no switch for them. don't really care.

Anyone have a picture of the RH switch gear and hazard symbol? Not seen it on any 14 spec machines at the dealer, so wondering if it is a US import only mod.

You hold the indicator switch to the left for 3 secs and ur hazards come on

Hey Jafasaffer - happy with the new R?

Heck yeah mate. Really loved my S, I personally find the R smoother than the S - although this may just be a software upgrade. Plenty of low end power. I had the Termi exhaust fitter yesterday, so will take it for a good run the weekend.

Hey Bud...How much did you pay? I'm looking to buy one for my self.
Thanks a lot!

Hey Mike!

I was faced with the same issue last month. I ended up going for a 13.

The savings were worth it. After looking at the dealer's model spec sheet the ONLY difference are the hazard lights.

You might want to check out Ride motorcycles Toronto, ask for Oliver!

Hey...sorry but how much did you pay...I'm really going to get one...

Go to your local dealer....I am sure they will be more than willing to give you a quote MSRP is $30995...:)

Jafasaffer is from NZ, I am from AU - you are from US - really think pricing is anything in comparison lol - mate we get ripped off with everything (poor NZ even more!) Go to a ducati dealer in the US :)

I called a dealer from Ohio...kinda far way from me but he is asking for 31.000 + MI taxes for the 2014 R.
Could I get a better deal? or not?
Out the door 32,860.00

Thanks Guys went with the 13...bought it this morning. this bike will be a project build race/track bike. I'm picking it up friday/saturday...let the build begin!!!

Should have bought the 14. It has the lightened flywheel and the new treatment to the con rods and valves.
