2013 Base Value

Why are we doing your work for you? You obviously own a computer connect to the in-ter-net - In 16 secs, I found 16 under 16K:

SUPERBIKE 1199 PANIGALE Ducati Motorcycles - CycleTrader.com

and just think, these are asking prices, these aren't selling prices... meaning you can get them even lower! (as no one should ever pay asking price) So the R I listed for 24k, you should prolly be able to get it for 22.5K since that dealer is just spending money for it to be sitting on the floor.

So we're still on this

seems so....."all in a days work on the forums"

I could be wrong but 2013 base bikes came standard with ABS so it wasn't an upcharge as it was in 2012

also, I can find a brand new, 0 miles 2013R for 24k with full factory warranty. So there is no reason you should think a used 2013 base is worth 17k... 7k difference for a never used R.

I am more amused you are upset with the opinions you asked for because you don't agree with them

I was trying to lighten the mood a bit. Don't get uptight. But what have you figured out yet as far as a price. Also I can get a new 14' base for around 15k right now here in PA so keep those things in consideration.

In conclusion, I guess 12K-13K is fair. My exhaust and Ohlins is coming off, and being sold separately. Thanks guys for your advice. Sorry for breaking balls.

I did the Ohlins hat trick thing as well, but this is my first and last Ducati, so not worried about resale - more than I will ever need - let my kids deal with it when I check out :D

For anyone who cares, I sold my 1199 on Monday. I took off the Ohlins damper, forks, and shock and let it go for $15,000 including the slips. My friend thought it was a fair price and he's really happy. Now I'm trying to decide what's my next bike. And obviously all my Ohlins is now for sale.

I guess my estimate was the closest by sayin u could get $13-$14k for it stripped down and $1k for termi slips. :)

Good job. Make sure to post up whatever u decide to get....even if it's not a Ducati. Stick around dude.

I wouldnt worry about what the trade in value is because the dealer will turnaround and sell it for more. I see used 1199 pretty much like your mods with more miles at the dealer going for $17.5. But most are right, part it and you will get a lot more.

Congrats on the sale. Not seeing your Ohlins bits in the classified section though, so get to work! ;)

Pretty good deal if you ask me, the Ohlins goodies are going to sell like fresh bread and you'll be around 18k$.
I'm pretty much in the same situation, '13 Base with Ohlins at both ends, Termi slip-on's and 3 sets of fairings. Mine was a leftover that I bought last spring and I'm looking at the "R" my dealer has coming. Will definitely sell the goodies and fairings separately.
