I guess it's that time of year, damn!

OOOOH WOW did he overshoot and fixate when he saw that car!

Hope he is OK....didn't hurt to miss the oncoming traffic though. The Pani showed a brief moment of target fixation but recouped nicely.

Looks like they both had issues. Both crossed double line.

Yes I also affixed on the bike crashing for a bit. Scared the hell out of me. Bike went literally 5ft in the air and when I ran over to see him I couldn't find him in the bushes lol.

I've seen that to many times. Now I only ride with top notch riders who know how to ride at speed. That crash should have never happened if he had more confidence in his bike and his riding ability.

You make a great point, I used to occasionally get startled by oncoming traffic while riding at speed....allow plenty of distance and safety margin when riding with people you don't know or lack experience ;)

Looks like he may have lost traction for a brief moment on the yellow lines, and probably lost all confidence then ran wide.

I ride this area every other Sunday with a group that meets at the 7-Eleven on the corner of East Colonial Drive and Remington Road in Oakland. His speed wasn't that great, and so he should have made that turn. Its good to hear that he's OK.

What time do you guys meet at the 7-11? I usually meet with a group at the kangaroo gas station right up the street.

Correction I ment to say the 7-11 on the corner of West Colonial Drive and Remington Road. We meet there at 9-9:30AM, your welcome join use if your not doing anything next Sunday.
