2014 Ducati 1199 Superleggera Pictures & Information

This thread needs more pics so I'll post mine.

It's really interesting reading the conjecture in this thread when the bike was announced. Some people were right about the pricing and the collectors and all of that.

My bike was owned by a collector. I bought it with 62 miles a month ago for about 2/3 the original price. It was like a completely brand new bike and came with everything the SL comes with. I did a complete fluid change before I put one mile on it, and just dropped it off two days ago for the 600 mile service with just under 600 miles. I won't be adding miles at this pace but I feel that it's important to break something like this in properly and that means the right amount of heat cycles, with the right duration, the right RPM's and variances, in fairly quick order so that any potential problems surface and can be addressed immediately.

The bike's been absolutely fantastic. It's the best motorcycle I've ever owned. It's really something special, especially at these prices for an essentially new motorbike.

Nice. Sounds like a great deal enjoy. I have always liked the SL. I think the 1199SL looks nicer than the 1299SL just because of the paint job.
