it's what i have been saying all along... looking at THAT total package, that is the most performant bike Ducati has ever Produced..
the desmo may have been more exotic. but most didn't deliver the power promised..90% got stuck at around 175.. it took 25k extra to get to the 200 promised.
a buddy made such a hassle of pointing out the lack of performance he got the kit for free..

bone stock : it had a hard time beating a 1098R. Even with the 6K race exhaust.

with the SL : It is a panogale but most fail to see the coming together of a string of seemingly small things into something utterly special...
all it really needs is a short throttle...
must admit they could have offered different paints schemes or an option to personalise...
what i would do to it : swap the front and go for the RS SBK pipe and short throttle...
what i'm not sure about : the titanium spring if it's not available in dif strengths..
