2015 1299

It seems that the R will get upgrades from the Superleggera, but its displacement won't change. But the Base and S models will increase to 1299. I'm a little bit excited. I'm thinking the Base and S will have about 10 more HP at the wheel?

That article kind of jumbles things up a bit from even what is published in the same site regarding the same subject matter. Maybe i'm reading it wrong...but...

The standard 1199 and 1199S will keep being 1199. The 1199R is being dropped, with the 1299R taking its place.

The article you linked jumps around all over saying the 1299R won't be getting another 100cc's. Well, no ..... The 1299R is the 100cc bump from the 1199R.

Makes sense to me;

1299 - 1199 with stroke job

1299r - SL engine and electronics slapped into the R with an 1199 capacity.

yep .. correct...
don't expect much more bhp on 1299 ... but the 'dip' will be gone...

Haven't seen any updates on your crash situation. How are you healing up?

On the legal front, any movement there? I said before that you should be getting an SL out of this unfortunate experience!

Hell I have the base, and I'm as happy as a pig in .... with it, but yeah I'll take a cheap R if anyone is desperate to upgrade to the 1299....lol
