I am selling my base 1299 due to a recent rotator cuff injury. I am 57 and I am probably done with riding sport bikes on the street for a while after this injury. I will probably look for something with a more upright riding position for the street. This bike is the base model but I added the auxiliary switch which is standard on the S model which allows on the fly adjustment of ebc, dwc, dtc, abs, by using the toggle buttons on the bar. I have also added upper and lower radiator guards, Shiftech carbon subframe covers, upgraded chain and rear sprocket (stock tooth and pitch), Stompgrip clear tank pads, DP carbon tank pad and a DP comfort seat. This bike has never been raced or dropped. It has had the first service completed and has 1,400 miles. The bike is basically new but is broken in and good for several thousand miles! It is under warranty until 12/24/2017. I am located in East Central Illinois and I am asking $16,500.

I would be open to reasonable offers. Remember, you are getting a new bike (with several extras) which has been broken in and had the 600 mile service, plus you don't have to pay tax or dealer fees!

This is the best way to buy - low mileage, non-abused pristine year old bike, $4k off a new one (at least in 2015). Mine has the same grips and everything

Most of us are dumb and buy from a stealership because we have to have it now

If nobody buys them new how do you think we will be able to buy them used??
