New GSX-R1000 for 2016 | MCN

I'm happy to see Suzuki finally get back in the game with fully modern and highly advanced GSXR1000, like the iconic GSXR750/1100 were in 1985/1986. I can't wait to own a Ducati 1299 S/R with VVT; even more torque!

about time. I've had enough of the new paint scheme plus abs. they make it sound as if they are the only bike with ABS

That's what I'm hoping for, Suzuki and then Honda to do what Yamaha just did.
I rode that new R1 today and what a bike!

I had a short ride on Michael's new Gsxr750 tonight ( we picked up this evening), very nice but a bit cramped!
Will test much longer tomorrow!!
Wish I could test the R1m but no demo models here unless anyone in England knows different?!

Wow, it should be a I4 with a narrowed top frame like the GP bike. That's going to make maintenance a PITA. Not a normal Suzuki feeling. Disappointing.

I was hoping for a frameless V4. Maybe Honda will try one.

Good to see them finally bringing something new to market. Hopefully they'll update the 20yr old look as well.

Not sure I want VVT anyways. I despise the VVT on my truck. Rattle rattle rattle rattle rattle.

I tell people I added a dozen Ducati dry clutches for better towing.
