i hope Honda knock it out of the park they have had the time to see what the competition has been up to and it's about time they changed the 12 yr old CBR, it was a great bike but it's done.

This is a Ducati forum, who cares about the garbage that Honda makes these days.

Honda has treated their sports bike customers with contempt by not keeping up with the competition.

Honda is one strange motorcycle company . I'm sure the company is being run by a schizophrenic pokymon addict .

So what if it's a Ducati forum, talking about other brands is prohibited?

Honda needs a spanking for being lazy as hell and not coming up with anything remotely interesting. But you have to give credit where its due, the componentry quality of Honda is the highest of the Japanese OEMs, Yamaha is on probably on par. Honda also knows how to make a very sweet chassis. Look at how relatively competitive the outdated CBR still is in WSBK despite it being 8 years old.

There are a lot of "gear heads" who are interested in anything that is aimed at the enthusiast. I agree that Honda has become too conservative, both cars and bikes. But I still want to know what's new out there.

They give Marquez and Pedrosa an engine that is way too aggressive two years in a row and give the buying consumers CBRs bold new graphics for damn near 10 years.

Bingo! Couldn't agree more.

Personally I used to like Honda vehicles however they lost their way many years ago. Where European manufacturers in particular kept progressing forward Honda went backwards with their 'high performance' products.

Each to their own I guess.
