Ok 950SP or Supersport S as a stablemate for the V4???

The Hyper will give you greater riding variety, compared to a supersport, if you already have a V4.

Depends on what riding position and riding style brings you the most joy.

Test ride.

This bike will probably get me in trouble with the law. I am try to schedule a test ride just for the fun of it.

I have a test ride booked this Saturday, I was and still am torn between this and a 959 Pani, I know they are completely different bikes but extremely similar price tags.

I understand your dilemma. I'm trying to find a 2018 939 in white. I don't need the SP. I already have a V4S.

My dealer told me he will have them in stock in 1-2 weeks.

Update: Picking up a 2019 Hypermotard SP this Friday, March 1

I may be crazy but I test rode the 950 SP today and am trading my V4s for one. Big change. I have loved the V4s but feel it is a matter of time until I end up in jail with that bike:) The 950 SP is a hoot and feels like riding a bicycle. Now dealer has to find one for me. It also will be nice to see my insurance payment plummet. I usually have a street bike of some sort and a more off road oriented bike. Also trading my KTM 1290 SAR for the new KTM 790r whenever those bikes arrive in the states. So two new bikes this spring/summer. Downsizing.

Brought mine home today!

I brought my beautiful 950 home today! I'm so pumped. I had to throw it on a trailer because it was raining and 40 degrees, but, I still took her for a spin once the rain stopped and I took it easy with new and cold tires on the freshly rained on pavement but could feel the power waiting to be unleashed! Its supposed to be sunny and a high of 45 tomorrow in Illinois, but I've got a thick leather and an itch to ride so bad that you can bet your rent I'll be on the bike for part of the day..(family life rules out an all day play session :(..)

Cheers!:D

Favorite motorcycle I have owned thus far! Full Term Exaust, Ohlins Steering dampner.
Newrage side mount tail tidy and turn signals.

Did the bike come with the Ohlins damper? If not where did you purchase the damper. I may do a track day this October (VIR Patriot course) my 939 base gets a little nervous during quick transitions which is fun but can lead to a nasty tank slapper if you're not smooth. At my age I'm just not as smooth as I used to be:)

How was the install on the tail signals ? Do you have better pictures of the light , how they are mounted, thanks.
