min in love with the 2020 for the looks, I think the looks might be what gets you to spend all that$$$ anyway
Supposedly updated electronics, 2020 uses the R "front frame" just different milling for stiffness, wings, R fairings for aerodynamics and cooling, two rear cylinders shut down at idle to save temps
I’m dealing with the same dilemma, but I can’t swing the 2020 V4S, just the standard V4 or 2019 V4s, I think I’m leaning toward the 2019 unless I wait until 2021 like Kev said but I’m impatient.
There are 4 dealers within 3 hours of me, all of them selling V4, V4S and V2s almost as fast as they can get them in. No deals to be had here on the bike itself. But you can get %off on accessories and install labor at time of bike purchase.
surely not selling as fast as they thought.
Where u at? I’m in venice
yeah Ducati SANFORD still has a 2019 V4R brand new.
That ones got the Akra exhaust installed but they really weren’t trying to make me a deal either. I’m like “that’s last years bike”

I looked up the standard equipment for the 2020 Base Panigale V4. It showed that the base came with full LED lighting and daytime running lights. Does that mean that the headlight on the base V4 is the same as the headlight on the V4S? Full LEDs on both models? Unlike the LED strip on the base 1299 with yellow bulbs and full LED on the 1299S?well I have to be patient bc I don’t wanna trade in my 1299. But I will be going after a base model to save the $6k over the “S” model.
back when I was shopping for 1299 it had to be the “S” model for the supreme LED headlights factory
also, I’ll be sending my stock muffler assembly to PHL for under $1,000 instead of having the Akra installed for ...$7,000 or something ridiculous. That’ll save money for other “upgrades“

How many miles are on the Demo bikes before they sell them for a discount? Regarding the $27,000 for the V4S demo bike, Im sure they would love to move them. I cant say for certain but Im pretty sure that Ducati gives the dealerships help on the demo models. One of my buddies is a GM at a local BMW car dealership here in NY and another buddy is a sales person at Mercedes. Both told me that BMW and Mercedes give the dealerships big incentives when they want to sell or lease demo models or the models the managers drive. Usually when they hit about 3500 to 5000 miles. If dealers are selling 2019 V4S bikes for under 24K, offer them 25.5K for a 2020 V4S demo model. Whats the worst that they can say? No? Im sure they will counter that offer with something that is below 27Kright now all i see is the std $28,800 for a 2020 V4S, Demo Bikes are $27,000.... How bad are they willing to move V4S in this Corona Environment... or do they just say .. we rather not make a sell.... ?
Then it would be worthwhile for me to wait until 2021 and pick up a base V4. Unless I want the V4S suspension it would be less expensive for me to pick up the base V4, and upgrade the bike to how I want it to be.That’s right, all models basically look like the R and they all do come with those premium headlights!
