2020 V4 Arrow+Filter running issues

Ressurecting this thread hoping for an update. I've got a '20 V4 base that I'm looking to add a Jester or Arrow slip on system to and was looking to confirm that the new Brentune Stage 1 is the consensus to go with.

If I'm reading all the historical related posts/threads correctly, the T800 doesn't have an exact match for either system and that if I'm not going to have it dyno tuned, the new Brentune is the best, current canned tune solution?

Any additional Brentune feedback beyond ElderBobo's? Stan1, did you get yours loaded up?

the t800 has a map for arrrow slip ons with and without db killer

The BentTune has great power from the bottom end to the top end. On and off the throttle is super smooth which makes it easy to get into the corner to set the motorcycle for the corners for track or street. Which it's a great improvement between the stock map. The throttle feels more connected to the rear wheel compared to the stock with the torque limits.

There are two negatives that I've experienced, one is the fuel economy.

I'm getting between 26MPG to 31MPG, my range per tank gets me between 109.2 to 130 miles per tank.

The second is a slight hesitates between 5000k rmp to 6500k rmp when you get hard on the throttle to make passes on cars.

I would highly recommend Brent Tune for ant after Market exhaust. I would like to see a close-loop flash option as FlashTune and Woolich. I believe this would improve my fuel economy when just cruising down the highway in low part throttle.

That's fantastic Stan...thanks! Those are your actual charts? (vs maybe quoting a previously published chart)

The Chart is from ElderBobo's V4 with an Arrow Slip-on, which is the same setup that I have on my V4s.

I few pics post installation on my R. I have a cold-start video I will eventually post on the Tubes. I will take another while it's outside as well and at temperature. Upmap only had two termi maps (listed up to 2019, but I have 2020) but the Upmap app said it was compatible.. I did a neighborhood run and noticed the 6k RPM lull as mentioned in this thread. Customer support told me to disconnect the lambda sensors and re-upload the map. I did that but have yet to test. I will report back.

Also I ended up having to put spacers in between the exhaust brackets and tab mounts to get some clearance to the rear tire. I put a 200 dunlop slick and I only had millimeters of clearance. Will post pics

Have you tested the t800 arrow maps yet? And have you got any dyno graphs available if so?

so far with the stock exhaust i will be testing it with the arrow slip ons on the bike in the coming weeks

i posted the results on my site and on this forum

Yeah I saw your testing on the stock bike with the t800 just was curious to know if you had tested the arrow map yet. I have the Arrow slip on on the way and now just deciding what route to take for mapping.

looking for some help, i've just fit (<60 miles) the Ti arrow exhaust on my '20 V4s and feel that i've ruined the drivability of the bike. cold start is bad, the bike loops rpm and seems to hunt. random stalls, and a definite flat spot around 5k when rolling on the throttle to pass. only other mod is a healtech servo buddy.

install the upmap it will fix what ails you

Upmap has 2 different ones for the arrow, also the termi option has the one they give you plus 4 others, there’s also a race one like the akra has

TY, ordered it earlier today. the flat spot and idle hunting is annoying. hope this fixes it, will post my results.

Hey man ran into the same issue with my v4 and arrow slip ons. I still got the lambda sensors in. Have you noticed any difference without the lambda sensors? Thanks!

I have a 2020 v4s with upmap “no db killers” but have the db killers installed on the exhaust instead, previously it didnt have the db killers on the exhaust and i feel like theres no bottom end power all mid and top. its loud especially when you are driving it. I dont think i have to spend another $ for a map with “db killers” i think the combo is perfect “no db killers on map” and db killers installed on the exhaust. I have the new generation arrow slipons too.
