2021 Streetfighter stalls just off idle

Are you saying that 204mph top speed isn't very useable? :)
It is doable, but not enjoyable.. at least for me; I sniffed at 180 and that is madness with no fairings. I'll trade that top end for being able to take a tight corner without slipping the clutch in 1st gear looking like an idiot. OFT and gearing are the 2 best and most immediate mods to improve the bike in my opinion, it was love before but now it feels like a soulmate

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to chime in. I test rode a 2021 SFV4S yesterday and saw exactly the same behavior. It was a second hand bike with about 7000 miles on it. I thought it might have been because bike wasn't warmed up. As earlier posters mentioned, I ended up giving it more gas from a step and eased the clutch in a bit more gently. Also agree with earlier commenter about using rear brake on inclines. My two cents!

I had the Ducati windscreen on mine and it made a slight difference at best when upright. If you were tucked down it helped more. I wouldn't be on that thing at 120 MPH upright.

Hello,
My Streetfighter stalls if you hold the throttle just off idle. I first noticed at a traffic light on a slight grade, I am trying to hold the bike with a little bit of throttle and clutch. It will start spitting and sputtering and then stall. I can do it at anytime by holding the throttle just off idle. Had it at the dealer for its first service this week and had them check it out. They reset all the adaptives. It idled higher for a bit but once the adaptives started to settle in, it starting throwing its fits again. Anyone else seeing this?? The bike runs perfect otherwise but this is not right. Thanks.
Any updates on this? I’m having the same issue, albeit in a different scenario.

It always does this after a quick pump of petrol.

Sent back to the dealer since 7 Aug and its still in the workshop.

Once I fitted an exhaust and UpMap the issue was resolved. It’s a shame you need to spend 3.5k AUD to get a good bike better Hahaha. For me it definitely made a massive difference

Same happens to me, I know exactly what you're talking about.

which exhaust? do you have a video?

I installed an Arrow titanium slip on exhaust. I currently don’t have a video
That's the one I want to get. When I'm at idle or very low rpm vs high, the exhaust sound is different. Do you know if it's the 2 vs 4 cylinder enabling/ disabling, or the servo kicking in?

Servo. The cylinder deactivation only works if the clutch lever is pulled all the way in when you're in gear, or are in neutral and have no throttle applied.

I like the Arrow, but they can melt boots. Price is good. But, I bought a Termi slip-on which comes with the T-800 to flash it and the Sprint Filter for right at $2k from VCyclenut. To add a T-800 and a Sprint to the Arrow puts you over that price.

im down under. I managed to get a good price from Genial motors in Italy for my exhaust

i have a servo buddy in mine so no noise difference.
@bp_SFV4 is spot on about the cylinder deactivation but haven’t had the melted boots issue yet Lol

Here is a video I did yesterday when I got it home. Hopefully it posts as I never posted a video to a forum before. I only use 93 octane in it as its the highest I have around here. Also as far as the clutch. I have never had to replace a clutch on any of my bikes. I wouldn't do it on a steep grade and only do it when t he light is ready to turn green with a light throttle.

Thanks for the replies!!

BTW.. I own 4 Ducatis so Im no stranger to them. None of the others do this.

Old post i know mine does same thing its 2023 looks like ducati can't figure it out they know most pepole use 93 octane time to get a exhaust and hopefully they will have good upmap.

Dealer did a reset and made some "adjustments" . Was still a little rough at first but cleared up after I put some miles on it and haven't had any problems(Knocking on wood) with shutting off since.
