2021 V2 Slip Ons

I have to retract my statement.
Someone at Facebook told me that every 959/1299 slipon will fit. He was 200% sure!
So I‘ve bought a 1299 slipon and what a wonder … it doesn’t fit! It’s missing about 40mm at the Y-connector. So …

A 959/1299 slipon will not fit our V2.
You have to install the headers too e.g. a full system. The only exception is the Akrapovic slipon. Here you have to buy the V2 Y-pipe separately.

After I sold my 1299 slipon I bought a new Akrapovic system for damn little money at my dealer so I‘m happy now :)
Funnily enough my Vademon slip on fits perfectly

Note that these results are without baffle, catalytic converter and exhaust valve as Mivv told me, but I think these graph isn’t the truth. So much gains without any software?! Never.

I think that includes a tune. MIVV says everything optimized, which to me suggest dyno tune

I ordered the delta race. I was wondering why the full system only picked up 2 horsepower until I pulled up dyno graph.
I am no expert on gains or losses with exhausts. However what I do know if that HP and TQ arent just determined by the exhaust. You can have the same bike, same exhaust, same tuning/fueling device. But one can have better numbers than the other because they may have been dyno tuned by two different people. That one scenario. Another would be if different tuning/fueling devices were used to dyno tune the bike. Some exhausts have better flow than others which gives them better numbers.

But in my opinion and if Im wrong someone correct me. Just because that dyno chart you looked at only shows that the bike picked up 2 hp doesnt exactly mean its really only 2hp. You should also take into account whether the full system weighs less than the slipon with the stock headers. Im sure it does. So that being said , the less the bike weighs the more power to weight ration there is. Those numbers will not be shown on a dyno chart. I only scratched the top of exhaust HP and TQ. There are guys like @endodoc or @Mick1976 who can piggy back on what I wrote and give you lots more information

I know all that man. I mentioned the 2hp on the full system because some else mentioned it. If you look at the dyno graph the bike picks up power everywhere in the rev range ie under the curve. The fact is picked up 2hp at peak is misleading

Youre talking about the MIVV full undertail exhaust? X.DU.0004.SC4T - DUCATI PANIGALE V2 2020 > 2021 - Mivv As to your question Im not sure. Shoot them an email. Im sure they will have an answer for you.

Right. I was responding to infections post about it only picking up 2 for full system. I'll likely go upmap or brentune
just some useless information. Do you know why Upmap named their product the T800? Its named after the T800 Terminator.

@Bryguy1299 was the 1st forum member to buy his Vandemon undertail exhaust for his 1299 from me end of October 2019. If Im not mistaken, at first he had the Rapid Bike. Then he bought the Brentuning flash from them and installed it. I believe a year later that he rode up to MA from NY. And got Brentuning to dyno his bike. But whats funny is how he bought the exhaust from me. We both live on Long Island. Just different parts. He works on Long Island, my place is in Brooklyn. So we met up at a Harley dealership parking lot after work not to far from where I live. So sometimes if an item doesnt get drop shipped to him we meet in that Harley parking lot.

So the 959 stock exhaust won't fit without an extension at the Y-piece? That's a shame, that was my plan all along, it's a much cleaner look and sounds better to boot.

was my plan too :D now I‘ve ordered the Akrapovic slipons. 2k for the exhaust, filter, upmap and installation. I think that’s a good deal.
