Usually, you get a 2-3 year grace period where your bike is still unique. I always say, buy the best bike you can afford at the time and enjoy the ride. There will always be a better option the next year.

The delay for you getting your bike was due to the pandemic so blame china, not ducati.

Also these improvements are what makes Ducati's bikes so great, and your hurt feelings is a small price to pay for such greatness.
