Hey all! Logan here. Looking into new exhausts for my v4s. Was wanting to do a full titanium exhaust. I haven’t heard any in person which scares me with most of the low sound quality videos for 22-23 bikes. Also wasn’t sure if the 2022-23 models can use the prior year exhaust. I like akrapovic’s sound from what I hear. But every other brand I’m unsure of, does anyone have some insight on if akrapovic is really the best choice for the money or if another brand has great sound and similar performance. There is no appreciable difference for street use full vs slip on, Id consider the low Akras, sound great in real life. Avoid the cheapies and anything slash cut
I’m from Oregon. No emissions I need to worry about here or noise restrictions. Going to start the track soon. But it seems like my Ducati is still a little too quiet. I’d rather people hear me sooner when I’m riding around town.

It’s not going to matter. People don’t see motorcycles because they don’t really look, not because their exhaust wasn’t loud enough. By all means get an exhaust and a good tune though. I’d give the Termi slip-on a slight nod over the Akra as I think it had a slightly better tone.
I have a full akra exhaust on my V2 and Termi slip-on on my 23 V4s. Personally, I like the sound quality of Termis better. The akra screams more but sometimes I can hear bells ringing in my ears lol
I have the Termi Black slip on and they are actually a bit louder and in my opinion produce a deeper sound than the Akra.

Agreed. I love Akrapovic but this is the one time I’ve stepped away from the brand and tried Arrow and I couldn’t be more happy. The quality is on par with Akra and the pipes have blued perfectly. Sound isn’t quiet but it’s not obnoxious either. I’m using the UpMap Arrow tune to good results if anyone is on the fence.
Be careful the left one drags when you're on your knee. Move it as far upwards and inwards as you can. Otherwise sound good and they're about 10 lbs lighter.
