Hey all,

Finally picking up another Panigale! (I haven't had one since 2015). I'm looking at the following 3 deals and would love some feedback. They all seem like good deals but there's a decent difference in mileage, year, price.

1. 2012 Panigale S Tricolore - 13,100 miles for $9,750
2. 2015 Panigale S (all red) - 6,000 miles for $13k
3. 2017 Panigale (base model) - 5,200 miles for $13.5k

13,100 seems a bit high for me but love the price and tricolore scheme. The 2015 is an S for basically the same price/mileage but 2 years older. I'm torn.

Thanks in advance!

Panigales require a 7500 mile service, which costs between $350-550ish. I think there are some places that charge even more than that. This is something to add to your list of factors to consider when purchasing a used panigale.

Cool. Is there a way to tag him? Curious to hear more opinions.
Mick posted this with healthy dose of sarcasm, so continue your search, get yourself informed / educated before you pull the trigger on one particular bike. My advice is don't let "shiny red" or "Italian colors..." drag your attention away from more important things like bent or broken sterring stops, or other parts, traces of oil or coolant leaks...

Ahh got it. I've done the research and owned an 1199 but it's also beneficial to hear from people who have legit experience from forums versus reading literature or statistics on a bike.

I should have been a little more clear, what I ment by being educated was not reading books (but why not)!? I ment exactly what you said, talk to the current owners...I gave you few things to keep an eye for, plenty other thing out there also...

1299 all the way, the 17 has the evo software, 750 upgrade on the 15? The 15 has the wheels and ohlins... If I was planning to upgrade wheels etc then the 17, if I wanted a bike "as is" Id go for the 15

15S,

You can buy the EVO for the 2015 if you like, but unless you are skilled enough to control a rear wheel spin when leaned over or back the rear into corners, you won't really need it. The S does come with Ohlins and forged wheels, something that would be too costly to upgrade.

Good Luck
