Finished the install and just got back from a test ride. Very positive change, pulls from lower in the range. Can't wait to get it on the track.
Took me about 2 hours start to finish, pretty simple installation.
Wait, you installed it yourself? Hey guys, we don't have to have our dealers install it, we can do it ourselves! Damn, wish I had known that
If I had to take it to the dealership for the little things then it would still be stock!
It lifts the front end a bit easier. Its easier to drive in traffic with the lower gearing. Riding on the freeway I dont notice much of a difference, RPM is a bit higher but at that point it does not really matter.

I'm sure you mean lower in the speedo range and not lower in the rev range. Unless of course you have some of them new KERS sprockets...
Lower in the rev range. I don't really look at the speedo, unless there is a cop nearby.
You do realize that changing sprockets makes zero difference in what power your bike makes at a given rpm, right? Zero. Just raises the rpm at a given road speed, thus my point.
Is there a different map for the new gearing??
